The Stage Is Yours

At the center of Crafters Warehouse is The Stage—our main performance and event area.

This is where performers, songcrafters, DJs, dancers, friends, and curious visitors come together to share music and enjoy the creativity of the Red Light Center community.

Some performers arrive with songs of their own. Others discover something they would like to perform in The Music Room. Some may even begin with a story and work with Soundtracks to create an entirely new song.

However the song begins, The Stage is where it meets its audience.

A Stage for Original Music

Crafters Warehouse was created to give original songs a place to be heard and performed.

Artificial intelligence has made it possible for people without traditional musical training to turn their ideas, experiences, and imaginations into music. The Stage gives those songs something equally important: a performer and an audience.

You do not have to be a professional singer or musician. In Red Light Center, a performance is about presenting a song through your avatar, personality, movement, clothing, staging, and connection with the audience.

The music provides the voice. You bring the song to life.

What Happens on The Stage?

The Stage is home to a changing variety of activities, including:

• Performances of original and personalized songs
• Premieres of newly created music
• Featured-performer appearances
• DJ-hosted music and dance events
• Community celebrations
• Themed musical programs
• Special Crafters Warehouse events
• Collaborative performances involving dancers and other participants

Some events will feature scheduled performers, while others may offer opportunities for new performers to step forward and participate.

Three Ways to Find Your Song

Bring a Song of Your Own

If you have written or created an original song, The Stage gives you a place to present it before an audience.

Your song does not need to have been created through Soundtracks. We welcome original music from other songcrafters, provided that you have the right to use and perform it.

Choose a Song from The Music Room

The Music Room contains a rotating collection of songs that have been made available for performance at Crafters Warehouse.

Follow the link for any displayed song to listen to it on Suno, read its lyrics, and decide whether it feels right for you.

Create a Personalized Song

If you have a story you would like to perform but do not yet have a song, Soundtracks can help you create one.

You can learn to make the song yourself, create with personal guidance, use AI as a creative partner, or have the complete song crafted for you.

What Makes a Performance?

A performance can be as simple or as creative as you want to make it.

You might:

• Choose an outfit that reflects the song.
• Develop gestures or dance movements.
• Invite dancers or friends to join you.
• Introduce the story behind the song.
• Use props or stage instruments.
• Create a character or performing identity. (Create A Persona)
• Simply stand before the audience and let the song speak.

You do not need an elaborate production. A meaningful song presented with sincerity can be a powerful performance.

Respecting Every Creator

Crafters Warehouse is built around respect for music, creativity, and the people who share their work.

When performing a song created by someone else, the songcrafter should be acknowledged whenever possible. Songs from The Music Room are available for Crafters Warehouse performances with the creator’s permission.

We ask performers and audience members to support one another. Every person who steps onto The Stage is sharing something creative and deserves an encouraging environment.
