Terms and Conditions

Effective date: [INSERT EFFECTIVE DATE]
These Terms and Conditions govern requests for and purchases of personalized song services from Soundtracks through the Crafters Warehouse website or associated communication channels.
By submitting a request, approving a project, or purchasing a service, you agree to the terms that apply at that stage. If you do not agree, do not proceed with the order.
In these Terms, “Soundtracks,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Soundtracks personalized song service. “Customer,” “you,” and “your” refer to the person requesting or purchasing a service.

  1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into an agreement to purchase a service. If a song concerns a minor, you confirm that you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian or otherwise have appropriate permission to provide the submitted information.
Decision before publication: [CONFIRM THE 18-AND-OVER REQUIREMENT.]
  2. Requests Are Not Automatically Accepted
Submitting the Personalized Song Request form begins a consultation. It does not:
    Guarantee acceptance of the project
    Create a confirmed order
Guarantee the selected package or quoted price
    Guarantee a requested delivery date
    Require either party to proceed
An order is accepted only after Soundtracks confirms the project scope, package, price or Rays amount, anticipated schedule, included revisions, and payment arrangements.
We may decline any request that is outside our capabilities, cannot reasonably be completed by the requested date, violates these Terms, or raises safety, privacy, legal, or ethical concerns.
  3. Packages, Pricing, and Additional Services
    Current base packages are:
    Essential Song — $10 or 150 Rays
    Collaborative Song — $20 or 300 Rays
    Premium Song Experience — $50
The package names, features, prices, and Rays equivalents shown on the pricing page at the time an order is accepted will control.
    Additional charges may apply for:
    Rush service
    Video creation
Work outside the package’s defined scope
    Revisions beyond the included allowance
Significant changes requested after the project direction has been approved
No additional paid work will be undertaken without informing the customer.
  4. Payment
Payment method and timing will be confirmed before work begins. Available methods may include U.S. currency or Red Light Center Rays, depending on the package and agreed arrangement.
Decision before publication: [CHOOSE ONE: FULL PAYMENT BEFORE WORK BEGINS / A DEPOSIT FOR SOME PACKAGES / PAYMENT UPON APPROVAL OF A PREVIEW.]
Customers are responsible for any transaction charges imposed by a payment platform. Prices do not include taxes that may be legally required.
  5. Customer Responsibilities
    You agree to:
Provide accurate contact and project information
Respond within a reasonable time when approval or clarification is requested
Review names, dates, pronunciations, and other factual details
Identify sensitive subjects or details that must not appear
Provide only material that you have the right and permission to use
Avoid submitting confidential information that is unnecessary to the project
You are responsible for obtaining permission when your request includes private information, quotations, recordings, photographs, or other material belonging to another person.
  6. Prohibited Requests and Materials
You may not use Soundtracks to create or distribute material that:
Violates another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
Copies protected lyrics, melodies, recordings, or substantial portions of an existing work
Requests a deceptive or unauthorized imitation of a real person’s voice
Is unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, exploitative, or intentionally harmful
    Sexualizes or exploits a minor
Promotes fraud, violence, or illegal activity
Contains personal information provided for stalking, harassment, or other misuse
Musical references may be used to communicate general qualities such as genre, mood, instrumentation, energy, or era. Soundtracks will not promise an exact copy of an existing song or an exact imitation of a living artist.
  7. AI-Assisted Creative Process
Soundtracks combines human direction and creative decisions with AI-assisted tools. The process may involve writing assistance, music generation, voice generation, editing, audio processing, and repeated experimentation.
AI-generated results may vary. Vocals, pronunciation, arrangement, instrumentation, timing, and emotional interpretation can differ from the customer’s original idea or from one generation to another.
    We do not guarantee:
    A specific voice or performer
Exact pronunciation in every generated version
A result identical to a reference song or artist
That every submitted detail will fit naturally into the lyrics
That a particular generation can be recreated exactly
Commercial success, audience response, platform acceptance, or copyright registration
We will use reasonable creative judgment to produce a song consistent with the accepted project description and package.
  8. Turnaround and Deadlines
Typical estimated turnaround after acceptance and payment confirmation is:
    Essential Song: approximately 7–10 days
    Collaborative Song: approximately 10–14 days
Premium Song Experience: up to one month
These are good-faith estimates, not guaranteed deadlines. Timing may be affected by the complexity of the story, customer response time, revision requests, technical issues, service outages, illness, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
A deadline is guaranteed only if Soundtracks explicitly agrees to that guarantee in writing. Rush requests may cost extra and must be approved before work begins.
  9. Revisions
The number and scope of revisions depend on the package confirmed for the order. A revision means a reasonable change to the accepted song direction; it does not automatically include starting over with a new story, recipient, genre, or creative concept.
Revisions may address matters such as:
    Correcting factual details
    Adjusting wording or emphasis
    Addressing a clearly identified concern
    Making a package-appropriate creative refinement
Because AI music is variable, a revision request may require a new generation that also changes elements the customer liked. We will explain important tradeoffs when practical.
Requests outside the included revision allowance may require an additional fee. Premium Song Experience currently includes up to two revisions within the agreed scope. The exact revision allowance for every order will be confirmed before work begins.
Decision before publication: [DEFINE THE INCLUDED REVISION ALLOWANCE FOR THE ESSENTIAL AND COLLABORATIVE PACKAGES.]
  10. Customer Review and Approval
You are responsible for reviewing the delivered song or preview promptly and identifying factual errors, unwanted personal details, or other concerns within [INSERT REVIEW PERIOD, SUCH AS 7 DAYS].
If we do not receive a response within the review period after a reasonable follow-up, the project may be treated as complete. Later changes may require a new fee.
  11. Cancellations and Refunds
Before work begins, either party may cancel the proposed project. Any refund will depend on whether payment has been made and whether transaction fees are recoverable.
Once creative work has begun, time and service costs have already been incurred. Refund eligibility should therefore depend on the stage reached and the reason for cancellation.
Business rule to finalize before publication:
[OPTION A: Full refund before work begins; no refund after the first draft or generation is delivered.]
[OPTION B: Full refund before work begins; partial refund based on uncompleted work before delivery; no refund after final delivery.]
[OPTION C: Insert another clearly defined policy.]
If Soundtracks cancels an accepted project because we cannot complete it, the customer will receive a refund of amounts paid for work not delivered. Refunds are not guaranteed merely because a customer’s taste changes, the AI-assisted result differs from an imagined performance, or the customer supplied incomplete or inaccurate information.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights provided by applicable law.
  12. Delivery and File Preservation
The delivery method and included file format will be confirmed for the order. Customers should download and safely back up delivered files.
Soundtracks does not promise permanent storage or indefinite replacement of finished songs, drafts, source files, or project materials. We may delete working files after a reasonable period.
Decision before publication: [CHOOSE HOW LONG FINISHED DELIVERABLES OR WORKING FILES WILL NORMALLY BE RETAINED.]
  13. Customer Use and Intellectual Property
The customer retains rights in original material the customer provides.
The rights granted in the completed song must be stated carefully because AI-assisted content may receive different copyright treatment depending on the amount and nature of human authorship, and third-party tool terms may also apply. Soundtracks does not guarantee that an entire AI-assisted song is eligible for copyright registration or exclusive ownership.
Choose and publish one customer license:
Personal-use license: The customer may use and share the song privately and on personal social accounts but may not sell, license, monetize, or commercially exploit it without separate written permission.
Broad commercial license: The customer may use, share, perform, monetize, and incorporate the delivered song into lawful projects, subject to third-party platform rules and any rights that cannot legally be transferred.
Package-based license: Personal use is included in base packages; commercial use requires an add-on or separate agreement.
Until a final license is selected and stated in writing, no commercial-use permission should be assumed.
Soundtracks retains ownership of its business name, website content, forms, service descriptions, workflow, and materials not specifically licensed or transferred to a customer.
  14. Public Performance, Portfolio, and Promotion
Purchasing a song does not automatically give Soundtracks permission to publish the customer’s story or publicly feature the song.
We may perform, post, stream, display, or use a customer song in a portfolio, Crafters Warehouse event, Music Room, social post, advertisement, or promotional example only after obtaining separate permission. The customer may place reasonable limits on how their name or story is identified.
Permission to feature a song may be documented by a separate checkbox, message, release, or written agreement. Declining promotional permission will not reduce the service purchased.
  15. Third-Party Platforms
Song creation, communication, payment, performance, hosting, or delivery may involve third-party platforms such as Suno, OpenAI, WordPress, Forminator, Discord, Red Light Center, email providers, payment providers, and file-hosting services.
Your use of those platforms may also be governed by their own terms. Soundtracks is not responsible for a third party’s outages, account actions, policy changes, data practices, or decision to remove or restrict content.
  16. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Services and deliverables are provided with reasonable care but without a promise that they will meet every subjective expectation or achieve a particular personal, artistic, promotional, or financial result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soundtracks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the service, a third-party platform, lost files, delayed performance, or the customer’s use or distribution of a song.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soundtracks’ total liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount the customer paid Soundtracks for that order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
  17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from material you submitted, instructions you gave, your violation of another person’s rights, or your unlawful use or distribution of a delivered song.
  18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a formal claim, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the concern through direct communication.
Review before publication: [CONFIRM WASHINGTON AS THE GOVERNING LAW AND DECIDE WHETHER TO NAME A SPECIFIC COUNTY OR COURT VENUE.]
  19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our services, prices, tools, or legal obligations change. The version in effect when an order is accepted will generally govern that order unless both parties agree otherwise or the law requires a change.
