Meet the Songcrafter
My name is Veronica Glenne, and I am the songcrafter behind Soundtracks.
I did not begin as a traditional musician or professional songwriter. I began as a storyteller with a lifelong love of music and a growing fascination with how songs become connected to the people, places, and experiences in our lives.
Through writing and creating hundreds of songs, I have learned how to listen for the story beneath the facts. Often, the most important part of a song is not simply what happened. It is what that experience meant to the person who lived it.
My song-crafting experience has included songs about love, friendship, marriage, family, personal transformation, loss, community, and celebration. I have also created songs for performers, virtual-world events, fictional characters, and people who wanted to express something meaningful to someone they loved.
Artificial intelligence and music-creation platforms have made it possible for more people to participate in creating music. However, the technology is only part of the process. A meaningful personalized song still begins with a human story.
My role as a songcrafter is to help find that story, identify its emotional heart, and determine how it might best be expressed through music.
